BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
(REV1) – COVID-19
Our rates are inclusive of VAT @ (15%) and bed and breakfast for 2 PAX.
ACCEPTED MEANS OF PAYMENT
The following is accepted – Master, Visa, Credit, Debit cards, cash and via EFT.
We do not accept any foreign currency.
50% payment is required 14 days before arrival date, to ensure your booking gets confirmed.
Due to COVID-19 issues this has changed to 5 days or prior arrangements with Management.
CHILD POLICY
We accept children under the guidance of their Parents.
The Family Suite can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children up to the age of 12 – (Bunk beds).
Only children under the age of 12 can share a Suite with their parents at an extra fee. (When the Family Suite is not available).
Cots or mattresses can be booked at extra cost for children under the age of 12 in some of the suites by prior arrangement with Management.
Children over the age of 12 need to be checked into their own bedrooms.
ROOM POLICY
Smoking is strictly not allowed in rooms. Only 2 adults per Room.
Some of the suites can accommodate a cot or mattress at extra cost for small children. (See child policy)
CHECK-IN/OUT TIMES
Check-in: from 14h00 – 20:00 (there are always someone on the premises, late arrivals can be checked in until 22:00)
Check out: 10h00- late checkouts are available on request and only if the room is not an arrival, there may be an extra charge if it`s too late. The guests are welcome to laze by the pool or relax in our lounge areas until they are ready to depart. If not, they are welcome to leave their luggage at reception while they go out to explore.
If we have available space, they can leave their vehicles here as well until they depart. (We have extra parking on Sanctuary Lane for them).
CANCELLATION POLICY – COVID 19 RELATED
Free of charge cancellation up to 72 hours prior to arrival if one of the following reasons occur:
• The government in the guests’ country restricts travel
• The government in South Africa restricts incoming travel
• International flights are cancelled and no alternative routings available for guests to travel in and out of South Africa
• The guest has contracted COVID19 and is receiving treatment or is in quarantine up to 48 hours prior to their arrival in South Africa. Ilanga Travel will request proof of a positive test result.
If clients cancel because of any other reason not listed above, the normal cancellation policy will apply, and cancellation fees will be charged accordingly.

One month prior to arrival: 10%
21 days prior to arrival: 25%
14 days prior to arrival: 50%
6 days prior to arrival: 100%
NO REFUND FOR NO SHOWS!
The new POPI Act in South Africa came into effect on 1 July 2021.
